July haiku 10:31

I have a garden. It’s small and wild and mostly succulents, which was the inspiration for today’s little lines. Succulents are some of my favorite things to grow; they thrive on my sporadic neglect and make lots of new, free plants for you.

Fat waxy leaves swell
Evolution, survival
Parched lips wait anew
A green waxy succulent with reddish pink tips and several flower stalks; there is a bead of water in the center rosette

    Great pic! Glad to know you’re still gardening; hard to go wrong with succulents! Have you tried bromeliads?
