Today’s haiku was inspired by how I spent yesterday morning: having my soul refreshed. I watched Heima, a film by Sigur ròs about a series of free shows they played across Iceland in 2006. I hate to admit this but I didn’t get into Sigur ròs when they hit; I’m trying to remember why. I think I thought they were…different? Now I want to kick myself for having missed out on all this incredible music, but that’s the great thing about being alive right now: streaming services! I’m mentally moving to Iceland/the Faroe Islands for the foreseeable future. Address your postcards to “the dilapidated shack shroud in fog on the third hill over” and maybe I’ll receive your missive.

You would love Iceland. Dad and I would go back in a heartbeat; maybe at some point to see the northern lights!
