if you were around last july, you might remember my little haiku challenge to force myself to write every day! there’s a link in the menu where you can review all of those if you so please…because i’m doing it all over again this year. i hadn’t planned to but at 4am, my knee hurt too much to sleep, and i decided to write haiku for a month. this is the creative process, folks!

i saw a throw pillow at the store that was basically variegated yarn couched on the surface with breaks every few inches to reveal the yarn. it was a really simple way to add color, and it made me realize i had all this yarn at home that i can’t get rid of but can’t really use in a knitting project, either. until now!
and yes, i know it’s not straight. this is JUNE.
