    I have a garden. It’s small and wild and mostly succulents, which was the inspiration for today’s little lines. Succulents are some of my favorite things to grow; they thrive on my sporadic neglect and make lots of new, free plants for you.

    Evolution, survival
    Parched lips wait anew

    Last night you were a dream
    Fleeting and precious
    Details soft at the edges
    I reached for you and my fingers
    Dissipated through you like vapor
