





my aeonium, peepa halpert (iykyk), and her various progeny displaying sun stress. light exposure and temperature change are key stressors for succulents, which is what makes them so colorful. what’s cool about it is how varied it can be across a single plant, depending on the angle of the sun, length and strength of the exposure.
this is peepa’s seasonal exit to dormancy; all of the heads will close up for the summer and reopen again in the fall. she turns FIVE this summer!
