The theme of perfectionism/success causing stagnation or a lack of creativity has come up a few times this week; perfectionism has kept me from doing many things, and this blog is part of an effort to make myself uncomfortable on purpose to drive creativity. It’s working? I don’t know; it’s hard to judge.
I guess this is everyone’s reminder to embrace your drafts, let go of your perfectionism, and pour all that messy life out into your medium. As a friend recently told me, keep creating – something is bound to stick.
